1. Leveraging the latest technology
TetraLD is at the cutting edge of learning and development technology. For example a few of our consultants have been authorities on virtual communities and communities of practice for years. Together with them, and our team of programmers, we have built tailor-made knowledge and learning centres for large organisations. These have, for example, enabled marketing and  technical teams dispersed over the globe to work as a single community (selling, developing, learning etc.) and benefit from the time difference between them. Benefit, because a post by one member will have responses from the entire team by the next morning; responses that have been thought through and researched effectively. Our coaches and mentors facilitate these groups, they give on the job asynchronous support and share their experience and expertise,  assign various roles to community members including the critical harvesting of emerging knowledge and innovation, ensuring that learning is anchored into new ways of working, and back into the organisation. (Note that facilitating online communities is different to facilitating physical meetings. Inappropriate facilitation is the one big cause of online communities failing to perform.)

2. Working Across Cultures
Multicultural teams are with us to stay, and are becoming more complex by the day. Your corporate athletes: CEO, team leader, and individual may be from any corner of the globe. Our individual and team development programmes for working across cultures are a specialised version of our base programmes. Our coaches have, between them, lived in most parts of the world and worked effectively in multinationals with all cultures.

3. Communication
Productive communication is at the heart of effective teams. People don't change quickly but how they choose to communicate can change in a few weeks! We have a series of tranings with personal and or team coaching to address productive communication, ranging from quick interventions to fix today's issues through to long term coaching of teams and individuals.

4. Tools that we use
We primarily use diagnostic and training tools that have been developed and validated in the past 10 years. These are based on the new, quantitative insights into adult development and behaviour. For example, Constellation Dynamics has recently proven very effective identifying and strengthening weak relationships between individuals and large teams. Of course we use, where appropriate, the classic diagnostic and development tools you know well. Tools like MBTI, Firo B, 360°, Team Dynamics etc.

5. TetraLD on Leadership
One of the hardest aspects of leadership is providing the impetus for the commitment of the organisation to follow the strategic direction.

To lead a successful business is also to know when to innovate to ensure the business is responsive and can adapt to the new market conditions. But moving a company in new directions is a complex and difficult task that no leader can accomplish without the commitment and full support of his team and organisation. Change in many organisations is seen as a threat. Accordingly, a critical element of leadership is to be able to deal proactively with the impact of change on the organization and its people. A leader must not only communicate the transformation process but must also build a strong team and motivate and energise them by showing personal commitment and involvement.

In so doing, we help to strengthen leadership and team management skills. TetraLD has a reputation of helping business leaders to remain flexible and adaptable to new environments. We are experienced in helping executives understand organisational and team dynamics and increase self-awareness allowing them to leverage their strengths and improve their effectiveness. There is no single model for a leader but having an understanding of self as well an idea of how one is perceived by others are the necessary foundations for successful leaders.
